  • Dismantling D9N Bulldozer ready for international shipment

We recently completed a major machinery dismantling and machinery export packaging project involving a Caterpillar D9N Bulldozer.

This job was undertaken to prepare the dozer for international transport, requiring a full breakdown of key structural and mechanical components. Our experienced team carried out the full strip down of the D9N, including:

  • Removal of blade
  • Disconnection and lift-out of the ripper assembly
  • Separation and secure packaging of the cab and ROPS
  • Full removal of all belly plates
  • Disconnection and handling of lift rams

Each component was safely dismantled and prepped for transport, ensuring compliance with freight regulations and minimising transport risk. All items were clearly tagged and protected for the journey.

We coordinated and liaised with all necessary parties to complete the job seamlessly—this included managing crane hire, engaging experienced riggers, organising heavy transport, and arranging a marine surveyor to verify and document the machine's readiness for export.

The successful completion of this job is another example of our capability in handling heavy machinery dismantling and logistics for domestic and international export. Whether it's a bulldozer, excavator, or specialist plant, we ensure your equipment is safely prepped for its next destination.
